The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational HR support, drive people initiatives, strengthen employee engagement, and ensure compliance with UK employment and immigration legislation, while supporting HR associates in managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle.\nThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of relevant HRBP experience in the UK, alongside a basic understanding of Indian employment law. Experience in the technology, software and services, IT services, or digital sectors is preferred.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Team Leadership & Supervision\nSupervise and mentor HR associates/coordinators, assigning daily tasks and establishing performance goals.\n\nConduct regular one-to-one feedback sessions, performance reviews, and training for team members.\n\nEnsure team compliance with internal HR SLAs, company policies, and labour regulations.\n\nSupport managers and extended leadership teams with special HR projects, where required.\n\n2. Employee Relations & Engagement\nAct as the primary point of contact for employee enquiries relating to HR policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.\n\nManage employee relations matters, facilitate conflict resolution, address grievances, and escalate complex issues to senior HR management where appropriate.\n\nEnsure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with UK and Indian employment law and are applied consistently.\n\nDevelop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, including team-building exercises, retention, wellbeing, and organisational culture.\n\nDesign and roll out employee feedback and engagement surveys, analyse the findings, and develop actionable plans to address key areas for improvement.\n\nPromote diversity, equality, and inclusion, fostering a sense of belonging across the organisation.\n\nPartner with relevant stakeholders to build and sustain high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative teams.\n\n3. HR Operations & Compliance\nOwn, oversee, and maintain the accuracy of all employee records, HRIS databases, and personnel files, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.\n\nCoordinate payroll inputs, attendance tracking, leave management, and exit formalities in partnership with Finance and Operations.\n\nSupport periodic audits and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable local labour laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies.\n\n4. Performance Management & Development\nAssist line managers with the mid-year and annual performance appraisal processes.\n\nHelp identify skill gaps across departments and coordinate training and professional development programmes.\n\nKey Requirements & Qualifications\nEducation\nA bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.\n\nA master’s degree or an HR certification such as SHRM or CIPD is a must.\n\nExperience\nAt least five years of progressive Human Resources Business Partner experience, with at least one to two years of direct experience supervising or leading a team or junior HR staff.\n\nSkills\nSolid understanding of core HR practices, employment law, and payroll and benefits administration.\n\nProficiency in HRIS platforms, ATS tools, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.\n\nStrong leadership, conflict resolution, and people management skills.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nHigh discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.\n\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive salary and performance-based incentives.\n\nComprehensive health and wellness benefits package.\n\nOpportunities for career progression into senior HR management roles.\n\nA collaborative, inclusive, and fast-paced work environment.\n\nOur Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion\nAt Scrumconnect Consulting, we believe thatdiversity drives innovation.
