This role combines strong technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for cloud technologies.\nYou will play a key role in automating, optimising, securing, and maintaining Azure environments, while helping drive efficiency, reliability, and innovation across our projects. You will also work closely with development and technical teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead Azure infrastructure projects, ensuring best practices across CI/CD, monitoring, security, and cloud operations.\nCollaborate with development and technical teams to design and implement scalable, secure Azure solutions.\nDrive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to improve automation, consistency, and reliability.\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.\nSupport containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.\nMentor and support junior DevOps team members, sharing knowledge and promoting continuous improvement.\nMonitor system performance, availability, and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.\nStay up to date with the latest Azure services, features, and industry best practices, assessing their relevance to our projects.\nContribute to improving cloud security, automation, and operational efficiency across projects.\nEssential Skills & Experience\nWe are looking for candidates with:\nSC eligibility and the ability to obtain SC clearance.\nProven experience working as an Azure DevOps Engineer, with strong hands-on experience across Azure services.\nStrong experience with CI/CD tools and practices.\nHands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nStrong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly:Terraform\nARM Templates\n\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nExperience leading technical projects and working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.\nGood understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nDesirable Skills & Experience\nThe following would be highly advantageous:\nAzure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.\nAzure Solutions Architect Expert certification.\nExperience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Azure environments.\nExperience with cloud security, monitoring, and performance optimisation.\nExperience mentoring and supporting junior engineers.\nDiversity and Inclusion\nAt Scrumconnect Consulting, we believe that diversity drives innovation and better outcomes.
