We bring deep expertise in agile delivery, digital transformation, and platform engineering across central government.\nWith a team of over one hundred and twenty-five professionals - more than forty percent of whom are women - we are committed to building inclusive, diverse teams that reflect the communities we serve.\nRole Overview\nWe're looking for a Senior Delivery Lead to take end-to-end ownership of a flagship AI-enabled product, from inception through to business-as-usual rollout. This is a genuinely formative role: you'll be shaping how the programme develops as it goes, not delivering against an already-fixed blueprint, so we need someone who is adaptive, pragmatic, and comfortable with ambiguity.\nThis is not an \"ivory tower\" role. We're looking for someone who will lead ethically, with real passion for building a good product, and who is hands-on enough to understand the practical implications of decisions on the colleagues and teams around them.\nKey Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables\nEnd-to-end delivery of a flagship product, from inception through to BAU rollout.\n\nIntegration of the service, both technically and operationally, including delivery of service and support wrappers.\n\nOwnership of communications and stakeholder management across a multidisciplinary programme.\n\nProactive, structured progress reporting - stakeholders should never need to ask, \"where are we?\"\n\nEssential Skills and Experience\nStrong working knowledge of \"Government Stuff\" - governance, standards, and approval processes within a public sector delivery context.\n\nExperience using the AI Playbook, Green/Teal Books, or similar government guidance frameworks.\n\nExperience supporting and leading multidisciplinary teams.\n\nUnderstanding of AI ethics and the associated legal implications.\n\nConfident use of Programme, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies, with clear tracking and reporting discipline.\n\nUnderstanding of security implications relevant to product and service delivery.\n\nStrong User Experience / User Research-led experience, combined with a pragmatic, \"get it done\" approach.\n\nProven Project, Programme, or Product go-live experience at scale.\n\nDesirable Skills and Knowledge\nExperience working at, with, or for a central government department.\n\nExperience with document processing, management, and routing at scale.\n\nExperience deploying AI products into live service.\n\nDeeper understanding of AI ethics and legal/regulatory implications.\n\nParticular Challenges and Priorities\nThis programme is building something new, and the successful candidate will be actively shaping how it develops as part of the wider team - not simply executing against a pre-defined plan. We need someone who is sympathetic to the implications this creates for colleagues, genuinely adaptive in how they work, and willing to lead from the front with real ownership and passion for the product.\nDiversity and Inclusion\nAt Scrumconnect Consulting, we believe that diversity drives innovation and better outcomes. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every individual is valued, respected, and supported.\nWe welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and actively encourage individuals from underrepresented groups, including women, people with disabilities, and diverse communities, as well as those seeking flexible working arrangements.\nAs a Disability Confident Level 1 employer, we are committed to providing reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process and during employment to ensure equal opportunities for all.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3753,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Flexible schedule"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Professional Services","Travel & Tourism","E-learning"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-21T09:31:50Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Skilled Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Skilled Worker","cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-24T06:24:00+00:00","sources":["UK Home Office: register of licensed sponsors (workers)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":{"score":12,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.334,"p_room":0.35,"age_days":22,"expected_fill_days":9,"reasons":["conf:0","stale_co","velocity","win:tail","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-24T06:02:35Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/scrumconnect-senior-delivery-lead","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/scrumconnect-senior-delivery-lead.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-24T21:20:24Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":31286,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-25T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":3861039},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=3861039"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fscrumconnect-senior-delivery-lead"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fscrumconnect-senior-delivery-lead"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fscrumconnect-senior-delivery-lead"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/scrumconnect-senior-delivery-lead\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fscrumconnect-senior-delivery-lead"}]}
