Our teams work at the forefront of innovation, helping organisations transform and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that truly matter.\nOverview\nWe are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to enable a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality digital services to help UK government clients solve problems and deliver value for citizens and the public sector.\nYou will work hands-on with the team, removing blockers, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring delivery cadence and predictability.\nThis is a hands-on delivery role operating within structured and governed environments where team health, transparency, and outcome focus are critical to service success.\nThis position will support a government digital payments project, which is building a new relational digital system between government services and an external organisation. The system will modernise how payments and related data are exchanged, processed, and reconciled between the two organisations, giving customers a more seamless, secure, and reliable service across digital and branch channels.\nKey Responsibilities\nBe accountable for the effective delivery of complex, high-risk products and services.\n\nLead delivery across a service or several teams throughout the product life cycle.\n\nBe the main point of escalation for delivery issues, risks, and dependencies.\n\nEngage senior stakeholders with strong, clear communication.\n\nCoach and mentor more junior delivery managers.\n\nOptimise the delivery flow of teams and identify innovative ways to unblock issues.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nWe're looking for:\nStrong experience as a Delivery Manager on multidisciplinary agile teams.\n\nConfident with Agile and Lean practices in production environments.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills - technical and non-technical.\n\nExperience maintaining delivery momentum and removing blockers.\n\nPlanning, governance, and assurance experience.\n\nExperience with team dynamics and collaboration - building healthy team cultures.\n\nDesirable Experience\nExperience taking services through GOV.UK Service Standard assessments.\n\nCoaching certifications (e.g. ICAgile, Scrum Alliance, Kanban University).\n\nMulti-team delivery experience (Scrum of Scrums, LeSS, Spotify-style tribes).\n\nExperience in regulated, security-conscious, or high-assurance environments.\n\nLocation and Working Pattern\nHybrid working: On-site presence typically 3 days per week.\nLocation: Swansea\nWorking pattern: 3 days per week on-site\nHow We Work\nIt is our mission to make digital easy - through intelligent systems that predict needs, automate complexity, and drive measurable value for the citizens and organisations we serve.\nOur Values\nCollaboration\nWe are stronger as a team than as individuals.
