In this role, you will lead the development of modern, accessible, and performant front-end applications using Next.js, working in structured and governed environments where quality, accessibility, and user experience are paramount.\nLocation: Swansea (with a regular expectation of up to 60% on-site attendance). \nSecurity Clearance: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) required, with the willingness and eligibility to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance prior to accessing production environments or live data.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Senior Next.js Developer to join a large-scale UK government agency. You will be a core member of a blended agile delivery squad consisting of civil servants and supplier staff, building user-centred, high-volume digital services. These critical services facilitate nearly 5 billion digital interactions and process tens of millions of customer transactions annually.\nIn this role, you will take ownership of designing, building, and supporting accessible, responsive front-end applications primarily using Next.js and React. You will seamlessly integrate these user interfaces with a modern API-first ecosystem built on Java Spring Boot and AWS serverless technologies.
