This is a hands-on architectural assessment role - you’ll be evaluating options, surfacing risks, and producing clear, actionable recommendations that inform how security is designed and delivered at scale.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssess baseline security architecture requirements across the programme.\nEvaluate architecture options for local, regional, and national delivery models.\nAssess security tooling dependencies, with particular focus on Microsoft security, SIEM, and identity services.\nIdentify architectural risks associated with centralisation.\nAssess the technical feasibility of proposed approaches.\nAssess multi-tenant and shared-service approaches.\nIdentify dependencies and technical constraints across the architecture.\nProduce clear, well-evidenced architecture recommendations.\nMap Microsoft Suite alignment to the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and wider government security frameworks.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nEssential\nActive SC Clearance - mandatory for this role.\nDemonstrable experience as a Senior Security Architect, ideally within large-scale, multi-tier (local/regional/national) delivery programmes.\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft security tooling, SIEM platforms, and identity services.\nExperience assessing centralisation risk and multi-tenant/shared-service architecture models.\nFamiliarity with the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and wider UK government security frameworks.\nStrong analytical and risk-assessment skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear architecture recommendations.\nExperience working within public-sector or similarly regulated environments.\nDiversity and Inclusion\nAt Scrumconnect Consulting, we believe that diversity drives innovation and better outcomes.
