Our teams work at the forefront of innovation, helping organisations transform and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that truly matter.\nThe Opportunity\nWe are looking for experienced Workday Extend Developers to build and deliver custom Workday applications across:\nStrategic Sourcing / Procurement\nGrants Management / Finance\nThe successful candidates will take hands-on ownership of assigned Extend applications, from design and development through to testing, deployment and support handover.\nEssential Requirements\n5+ years of application or integration development experience.\nStrong hands-on experience building applications using Workday Extend.\nExperience delivering Extend applications through at least one full Workday implementation or enhancement programme.\nHands-on experience with Workday App Builder and Presentation Model (PMD).\nExperience with Extend Studio and Workday orchestrations.\nStrong understanding of the Workday data model, business objects and custom objects.\nExperience with Workday REST/SOAP web services, WQL, RaaS and Custom Reports.\nStrong JSON and JavaScript skills.\nExperience with XML, XSLT and XPath.\nUnderstanding of Workday security, including API Clients, OAuth 2.0, ISU and ISSG.\nExperience with Workday Business Process Framework.\nStrong debugging, error handling and performance troubleshooting skills.\nWorkday Integration Experience\nExperience with the following would be highly desirable:\nEIB\nCore Connectors\nWorkday Studio\nDocument Transformation\nSFTP, PGP and X.509 certificates\nMiddleware/iPaaS such as MuleSoft, Boomi or Azure Integration Services\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, test and deploy Workday Extend applications.\nDevelop App Builder, PMD pages, tasks, cards and orchestrations.\nConfigure custom objects and integrate applications with core Workday business objects.\nBuild and consume Workday REST and SOAP services.\nDevelop WQL queries, RaaS and Custom Report data sources.\nIntegrate Extend applications with Workday Business Processes, notifications and alerts.\nConfigure Extend security and authentication.\nPerform unit, system integration, regression and UAT testing.\nImplement appropriate error handling, logging and monitoring.\nSupport tenant migrations, releases and cutover activities.\nMaintain technical documentation and support runbooks.\nWork closely with the Extend Lead and functional teams to deliver applications to agreed standards.\nProject Focus\nWe are currently looking for developers who can contribute to Extend applications in:\n1. Strategic Sourcing / Procurement\nExperience with Workday Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or related business processes would be highly valuable.\n2.
