About the role:
A Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and services that support an organization's cloud-based operations. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and creativity.
What will you be doing?
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services using technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Automate the deployment and scaling of cloud-based infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Optimize the performance and cost-effectiveness of cloud-based services
- Develop and implement security and compliance protocols for cloud-based operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write and maintain technical documentation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Communicate and present the results to the stakeholders and management
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong background in cloud-based infrastructure and experience with technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and services such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash is a plus
- Experience with network and security concepts is a plus
