Responsibilities\nPerform detailed analyses of task requirements\nWrite software development documents in accordance with the Company’s Engineering Documentation Standards\nCode software in accordance with the Company’s Software Development and Coding Standards\nTest and debug software (standalone test environment) with predefined test cases and verify predicted performance, memory, processor, and other requirements identified as requirements for the software\nIntegrate software (Company designed and purchased) with other software to form a complete system or enhance system capabilities and performance\nSupport test teams through the system integration and acceptance test phases\nAdvise Company management regarding perceived and/or recognized problems with performance of designed software and/or system development\nSupport installation and check-out on-site and hotline service or warranty/upgrade works at the installed systems\nShould the need arise, work towards your team’s goals carrying out tasks that may befall outside your field of expertise as best as you can\nRequired Skills:\nBSc or equivalent in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field\nSoftware programming skills in one or more of the following languages: C/C++, Java, Python\nAt least 3 years of professional experience in systems programming and the development of native applications using C/C++, or Java and TCP/IP, UDP/IP networking\nAbility to read technical specifications, identify requirements, and provide software design to satisfy these requirements\nAbility to work on Windows and Linux systems and perform basic administration / automation tasks (e.g., shell scripting to create / debug installation and configuration scripts etc.)\nGood knowledge of Computer networking concepts and devices\nSolid understanding of XML and JSON\nGood knowledge of SQL, and experience with RDBMSs (SQLite, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis)\nApplication compile, debugging, profiling, and optimization\nGood interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team\nNice to Have\nExperience with Angular, React, or Vue\nKnowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful/gRPC APIs, and reactive programming\nExperience with C/C++, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ\nFamiliarity with Maven/Gradle, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes\nExperience with database tuning, migrations, caching technologies (e.g. Redis), and geospatial databases\nExposure to Defence, Security, or Command & Control systems\nKnowledge of Tactical Data Links, NATO standards, GIS, or OGC
