Are you ready to join us?\nAbout the role:\nThe Group Cybersecurity Engineer (expert seniority level) role at SD Worx is a senior, hands-on cybersecurity position focused on protecting the company's global IT environment while enabling business growth. The role combines security engineering, vulnerability management, incident response, strategic advisory, process improvement, and stakeholder influence.\nWhich tasks can you expect?\nSecurity Engineering & Operational Excellence\nConduct security reviews, threat assessments, and risk analyses.\n\nImprove security controls across cloud, infrastructure, and workplace technologies.\n\nEnhance monitoring, detection, and response capabilities (SIEM, XDR, IDS/IPS, IAM, hardening).\n\nLead vulnerability management, prioritizing risks based on business impact, exploitability, and threat intelligence rather than CVSS scores alone.\n\nSupport major incident investigations and forensic activities.\n\nParticipate in on-call escalation support.\n\nProcess Improvement & Governance\nRedesign and optimize security processes across teams and countries.\n\nEnsure compliance with security standards and frameworks (ISO, CIS, SD Worx policies).\n\nDefine SOPs, SOC playbooks, and scalable security engineering practices.\n\nPromote secure-by-design principles across IT and application teams.\n\nAutomate security operations using AI.\n\nInnovation & Strategic Advisory\nMonitor emerging threats, technologies, AI capabilities, and regulations.\n\nTranslate external developments into practical security improvements.\n\nAdvise strategic business and IT initiatives.\n\nIntroduce AI-assisted security capabilities to improve threat analysis, vulnerability prioritization, and incident response while keeping human oversight.\n\nInfluence & Leadership\nBuild relationships with senior stakeholders and international teams.\n\nAct as a trusted advisor on complex security topics.\n\nRepresent Security in cross-country forums and external events.\n\nDrive knowledge sharing and security maturity throughout the organization.\n\nWhat do you have to offer?\nEssential\nProven 7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering and operations, with deep hands-on expertise in security tooling and platforms (SIEM, detection/response, IAM, hardening).\n\nStrong understanding of infrastructure, cloud and workplace security architectures and security operations concepts.\n\nAbility to translate technical risk into business-relevant insights for diverse stakeholders.\n\nSolid knowledge of network protocols, identity technologies and Active Directory.\n\nProfessional English proficiency (additional European languages are an asset).\n\nDemonstrated experience with vulnerability management programmes, including risk-based prioritisation, remediation governance and stakeholder alignment.\n\nDesirable\nRecognized security certifications or clear ambition to obtain them.\n\nScripting and automation skills to improve security efficiency and scalability.\n\nDemonstrated drive to shape secure engineering practices and influence beyond own technical scope.\n\nComfortable operating autonomously and communicating with confidence at senior level.\n\nExperience or strong interest in applying AI or machine-learning techniques to security operations, detection engineering, vulnerability analysis or automation.\n\nWhat do we have to offer?\nLeaves: the types of leave granted from day 1 (annual leave, study leave, maternity/paternity leave, wedding leave, compassionate leave).
