Our people solutions span the entire employee journey, from salary payment to attracting, rewarding, and developing talent.\nAre you ready to join us?\nAbout the role\nAs a Payroll Executive, you will provide an effective and efficient Payroll service to SD Worx customers across the UK under the governance of SD Worx’s Quality Management System.\nWhat do we have to offer?\nA dynamic environment: flexible working hours and working from home\n25 days holiday + 8 days public holiday\nFlexible benefits scheme (including ability to buy additional 5 days holiday)\nPension up to 6% matched\nWorkation: possibility to work from any SD Worx location (4 weeks per year, EU only)\nReferral program\nLearning opportunities: through an individual development plan and professional training\nCareer growth: whether you want to become more of an expert in your field or want to expand your knowledge more horizontally, there is always room to grow within SD Worx!\nWhich tasks can you expect?\nEffectively plan and manage own workload, managing, servicing, and delivering customer payrolls to agreed deadlines.\nParticipate in team huddles to ensure risks and issues are highlighted and followed through to closure.\nIdentify opportunities to advise and assist other team members, including cover for other team members as and when required.\nValidate and input all data received to agreed SLAs.\nCheck input data and make all relevant corrections before the live run.\nHandle routine, non-routine and complex customer queries regarding payroll and HR related issues, including liaising with both internal and external contacts.\nManage all aspects of Tax Year end processing for customers.\nCommunicate effectively to customers (internal & external).\nManage and support the customer in the processing of their payrolls to ensure payments/reports to employees are made accurately and on time.\nProvision and delivery of their performance statistics, including root cause to the Team Manager to meet reporting requirements.\nSupport the Team Manager in creating the RCA documentation.\nRecognise and promote opportunities for Added Value Services.\nCompliance with statutory regulations and provide guidance to customer and colleagues.\nDemonstrate good knowledge of legislation and products.\nMaintain Standard Operating Processes and update with changes.\nTake responsibility for own personal development plan in line with Company objectives and values.\nWhat do you have to offer?\nMinimum 2 years payroll experience, ideally in a bureau environment\nAttention to detail with the ability to analyse data\nDemonstrable customer service skills via telephone, and other forms of communication\nDemonstrable knowledge of PC literacy and software usage ideally including Word and Excel\nHigh level knowledge of payroll legislation, including Tax, NI, SSP and SMP\nTime and workload management\nDemonstrate the ability to identify risks, issues and problems proactively and timely\nCritical thinking and problem solving\nExperience within a customer service environment\nSalary range information will be shared with candidates during the initial interaction with the Talent Acquisition team, either by phone or email.\nFrom many places, we work as one, moving from better to best together.\nSD Worx embraces diversity in the workplace.
