capacity, availability, asset, and licensing data is accurate, complete, and actionable.\nA significant part of the role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, API integrations, and SQL-based data solutions that support CMDB, asset lifecycle management, capacity reporting, and operational decision-making.\nIt enables Product Owners and Platform Tribes to make tasks can you expect?\nTechnical Ownership & Architecture\nOwn the end-to-end technical architecture of the Capacity, Availability & Asset Management platform\n\nDefine backend architecture, APIs, integration patterns, and data flows\n\nEnsure scalability, reliability, performance, and resilience of all core components\n\nDefine and enforce non-functional requirements (availability, security, observability)\n\nAlign architectural decisions with enterprise standards and cloud strategy\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET and C#\n\nDevelop scalable API-based integration solutions connecting ServiceNow CMDB and enterprise platforms\n\nCreate and maintain SQL database structures, queries, views, and data processing logic\n\nData Model & CMDB Governance\nOwn and evolve the canonical data model for assets, capacity metrics, lifecycle states, dependencies, and licensing\n\nDefine and maintain relationships across configuration items (servers, VMs, databases, networks, storage, licences)\n\nEnsure consistency between ServiceNow CMDB and authoritative sources\n\nImplement automation-first data population, reconciliation, and validation controls\n\nMaintain continuous data quality through structured checks on completeness, duplication, and accuracy\n\nDevelop automated synchronization and reconciliation processes across multiple systems and data sources\n\nCapacity & Performance Management\nDesign and support forward-looking capacity modelling and forecasting capabilities\n\nMaintain utilisation data pipelines from monitoring tools, cloud platforms, and infrastructure teams\n\nProvide capacity dashboards, baselines, and trend analysis\n\nIdentify and escalate saturation risks early\n\nValidate demand forecasts using structured data insights\n\nAvailability & Reliability Management\nEnable real-time or near-real-time availability visibility through integrated telemetry\n\nMaintain SLA/SLO reporting and track business requirements into practical backend, database, and integration solutions\n\nWhat do you have to offer?\n3+ years of professional experience in backend software development\n\nStrong hands-on experience with .NET and C# development\n\nSQL database knowledge, including writing, analyzing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL queries\n\nExperience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs\n\nExperience building and maintaining integrations between enterprise applications\n\nExperience working with relational databases and data-driven applications\n\nExperience with CMDB platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and asset management systems\n\nExperience integrating with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD environments\n\nStrong data modelling capabilities (relational and service relationship modelling)\n\nExperience in cloud and hybrid environments\n\nTechnical Skills\nProficient in .NET and C#\n\nStrong SQL Server or equivalent relational database experience\n\nExperience developing backend services and APIs\n\nExperience working with JSON, REST, and modern API technologies\n\nAbility to troubleshoot integration, data quality, and performance issues\n\nStrong expertise in API design (REST/GraphQL), event-driven architecture, and cloud-native systems\n\nExperience integrating with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD environments\n\nStrong data modelling capabilities (relational and
