You define and communicate the product vision, manage the roadmap and backlog, and prioritize work based on business needs, customer expectations, operational requirements, security, and strategic goals.\nActing as the key link between stakeholders, customers, engineering teams, operations, and other Product Owners, you ensure alignment and informed decision-making. You translate ideas and requirements into clear features and user stories, manage backlog priorities, set stakeholder expectations, and approve completed work.\nWorking closely with technical experts, you help deliver stable, secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud and infrastructure services while balancing long-term strategy with short-term priorities.\nWhich tasks can you expect?\nKey accountabilities Product Vision & Strategy:\nDefine, communicate, and continuously refine the vision and direction of the assigned product or service.\n\nTranslate Tribe and organizational objectives into meaningful product goals and priorities.\n\nDevelop and maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and technical experts.\n\nBalance long-term product development with short-term business and operational requirements.\n\nEnsure product decisions support sustainable and reliable Cloud Hosting & Infrastructure services.\n\nBacklog & Priority Management:\nOwn, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog.\n\nCapture ideas, requirements, improvements, technical needs, and stakeholder requests and translate them into actionable backlog items.\n\nDefine clear priorities and ensure that the team understands the expected outcomes and business value.\n\nWork with subject-matter experts to create clear Features, Stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.\n\nRegularly review priorities based on business value, customer impact, dependencies, risks, technical health, and available capacity.\n\nMake conscious scope and priority decisions when circumstances or business needs change.\n\nStakeholder & Customer Management\nAct as the key interface between the team and its stakeholders.\n\nUnderstand customer and stakeholder needs and incorporate them appropriately into product decisions.\n\nCommunicate priorities, roadmap decisions, dependencies, and relevant changes transparently.\n\nManage stakeholder expectations and facilitate alignment when priorities compete.\n\nBuild strong relationships across Cloud Hosting & Infrastructure and with relevant business and technology areas.\n\nCollaborate with other Product Owners to manage cross-product dependencies and shared priorities.\n\nDelivery & Product Quality\nEnable the team to focus on the highest-value outcomes.\n\nEnsure requirements and expected outcomes are sufficiently clear for implementation.\n\nReview delivered outcomes against agreed expectations and acceptance criteria.\n\nGather feedback from customers, users, engineers, operations, partners, and stakeholders and use it to continuously improve the product.\n\nWork with technical experts to ensure that technical health, lifecycle requirements, security, reliability, and maintainability are considered alongside functional requirements.\n\nSupport continuous improvement of the team's delivery approach.\n\nCollaboration & Agile Ways of Working\nWork closely with engineers, architects, Scrum Masters/Agile Coaches, Product Owners, Tribe leadership, and other relevant stakeholders.\n\nPromote transparency, collaboration, ownership, and continuous feedback.\n\nParticipate actively in relevant Agile planning, refinement, review, and alignment activities.\n\nSupport the team in understanding the purpose and value behind priorities rather than focusing only on individual tasks.\n\nAct as a connector across teams and organizational boundaries.\n\nWhat do you have to offer?\nMotivated to learn and develop professionally.\n\nCommunicates openly, provides constructive feedback, and values transparency.\n\nShows interest in hosting and platform technologies.\n\nDemonstrates strong analytical and writing abilities.\n\nCollaborates naturally with colleagues across and beyond the team.\n\nTakes ownership of products and challenges with enthusiasm.\n\nWorks independently, proactively, and with initiative.\n\nApproaches tasks with pragmatism.\n\nMaintains a strong customer focus.\n\nDriven by results and energized by meeting deadlines.\n\nFluent in spoken and written English.\n\nWhat do we have to offer?\nA dynamic environment: flexible working hours and working from home\n\nWorkation: possibility to work from any SD Worx location (4 weeks per year, EU only)\n\nFree language courses (during your working hours)\n\nReferral program\n\nLearning opportunities: through an individual development plan and professional training\n\nCareer growth: whether you want to become more of an expert in your field or expand your knowledge horizontally, there’s always room to grow within SD Worx!\n\nAs this is an international role open in multiple countries, the full benefits package depends on the specific location.
