Contact us to get more details about the benefits we offer.\nResponsibilities:\n Design & Build: Lead the design and implementation of backend systems and scalable microservices that ensure regulatory compliance and legal process automation (e.g., IVV, Due Diligence).\nData Integrity & Scale: Work with large datasets and oversee complex data pipelines, ensuring absolute data integrity across critical financial systems.\nDrive Modernization: Lead engineering modernization efforts, including significant refactoring of legacy code and migration to a modern, distributed architecture to improve system resilience.\n Automation & Integration: Replace manual operations with event-driven automation (Kafka) and maintain robust integrations with third-party providers (Verdata, Salesforce, and more) to support business scale.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, and engineering teams to translate complex regulatory requirements into accurate, high-quality technical solutions.\nRequirements:\n\n5+ years of experience in Software Development (Backend focused).\nStrong proficiency in Java or Kotlin in production environments.\nSystem Design: Experience in building scalable APIs, working with microservices, and understanding distributed systems.\nExperience with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure.\nOwnership Mindset: We don’t just resolve tickets; we look at the bigger picture, understand the business logic, and take responsibility for the quality of our delivery.\nExcellent problem-solving and system design skills.\nB.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.\nFluent in English, both written and spoken.\nAdvantages:\n\nStrong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.\nPython.\nExperience with Snowflake, Spark, or DBT.\nExperience with Event-Driven Architecture and Kafka.\nBackground in Fintech, Banking, or regulatory environments.\nExperience with AI development tools like Cursor and Claude Code.\nAbout the company:\nA fintech company that builds point-of-sale financing and consumer credit products for everyday service businesses.
