You will work closely with technical founders and engineers with deep experience in computer vision and autonomous systems, turning that research depth into systems that work in the field.\nAbout the Role\nAs Senior Embedded Development Engineer, you’ll own the full-stack electrical design of our UAV compute and avionic systems. From architecture to component selection, from first schematic to flight test, you’ll be in charge of engineering the electronic backbone of our drones.\nYou’ll collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and AI teams, but this is your domain, and you’ll be trusted to build it right.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nArchitecture & Design: Define and develop schematics for compute, communication, and power supply systems across our flight platforms\n\nPrototype & Iterate: Build, rework, and test hardware with speed and precision, both in simulation and in flight\n\nOptimize & Troubleshoot: Analyze designs via simulation and real-world testing, including EMI/EMC, thermal\n\nDocument with Purpose: Keep clear records of requirements, tradeoffs, test results, tuning procedures, and design rationale\n\nValidate in the Loop: Support hardware-in-the-loop and environmental validation workflows to ensure rugged, reliable designs\n\nYour Profile\nYou hold a M.Sc. or higher in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline\n\nYou bring 4+ years of hands-on experience in hardware development and software integration, from component selection and PCB design to microcontroller\n\nYou have a deep understanding of EMC principles and know how to troubleshoot EMI issues both in design and on the bench\n\nYou’ve worked with PCB layout tools and 3D CAD, and have a practical eye for clean, testable designs\n\nYou’re confident with lab equipment (multimeters, scopes, spectrum analyzers, near-field probes) and use them to diagnose and debug with purpose\n\nYou’re experienced in commissioning systems, debugging boards, and ensuring they survive real-world use\n\nYou’re familiar with hardware-in-the-loop and environmental testing, and understand how designs fail in the wild\n\nYou speak fluent English; German is a strong plus\n\nMost importantly, you’re structured, fast-moving, and mission-driven.
