These platforms are tightly integrated with Seagate's ERP, Manufacturing Systems, Supply Chain, and Data Warehouse environments.\nAs part of Seagate's AI Transformation initiative, IEES is building next-generation AI-enabled solutions that transform engineering data embedded in different engineering systems into accessible knowledge and actionable intelligence to accelerate product innovation and engineering productivity.\nThis is a global team that collaborates closely with colleagues in the United States, Singapore, India, and China.\nAbout the role - you will:\nGenerative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) applications \nRetrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions \nAI Assistants and Engineering Copilots \nModel Context Protocol (MCP) integrations \nAI Agent and workflow automation solutions \nEnterprise engineering knowledge management \nYour responsibilities may include:\nDesign, develop, and evaluate AI-powered prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions. \nBuild integrations between AI applications and enterprise engineering platforms, such as Windchill PLM, JIRA, TPM, and other business systems. \nDevelop AI orchestration workflows that leverage multiple engineering systems and data sources to automate and streamline complex business processes. \nAssist with data preparation, system integration, validation, and end-to-end testing of AI solutions. \nCollaborate with IT leads, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical AI-enabled solutions. \nDocument designs, implementation approaches, test results, and lessons learned to support solution adoption and continuous improvement. \nAbout you:\nPassionate about learning new technologies \nCurious about Artificial Intelligence and software engineering \nStrong problem solvers with analytical thinking skills \nSelf-motivated and eager to experiment with innovative ideas \nComfortable working in a collaborative global team environment \nAble to communicate effectively and learn quickly \nYour experience includes:\nSenior undergraduate, Master's, or PhD student \nMajor in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Data Science, or related disciplines \nProgramming experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, or related technologies \nUnderstanding of software development fundamentals and data structures \nAbility to read and communicate in English in a global work environment \nExperience or coursework in one or more of the following areas:\nGenerative AI \nLarge Language Models (LLMs) \nMachine Learning \nRetrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) \nAI Agents \nModel Context Protocol (MCP) \nGitHub Copilot \nLangChain or LlamaIndex \nREST APIs \nCloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) \nFull-Stack Development \nData Analytics \nLocation:\nLocated in the high technology district, our site in Wuxi is a global manufacturing hub delivering technical services, customer testing, manufacturing, and support capabilities.
