Working closely with business, data engineering, and analytics teams, we apply Industry 4.0 capabilities including real-time control, IoT, Big Data and Analytics, automation, and AI to advance smart factory initiatives and operational excellence.\nAbout the role - you will:\nDevelop and maintainbusiness reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations using modern business intelligence tools.\n\nUse Generative AI to accelerate data exploration, SQL development, report documentation, insight summarization, and stakeholder communication, with appropriate validationand human review.\n\nBuild natural-language analytics experiences that help users ask questions, discover insights, and navigate trusted business data.\n\nPartner with data engineering and analytics teams to gather, clean, prepare, and model structured and unstructured data for reporting and GenAI use cases.\n\nConduct exploratory data analysis to identifytrends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable business insights.\n\nPresent analytical findings through clear visual storytelling, AI-assisted narratives, and concise recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.\n\nFollow responsible AI, data privacy, information security, version control, testing, and documentation practices.\n\nAbout you:\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a relateddiscipline.\n\nPassionate about data, reporting, visualization, Generative AI, and using technology to solve business or manufacturing problems.\n\nCurious, adaptable, and willing to experiment with new analytical and AI technologies while validatingresults carefully.\n\nComfortable translating business questions into data requirements, analyses, visualizations, and clear explanations.\n\nStrong analytical mindset with attention to data accuracy, consistency, and responsible use.\n\nA collaborative communicator who can work with cross-functional and global teams.\n\nInterested in building AI-assisted analytics products, not only static reportsand dashboards.\n\nYour experience includes:\nBasic to intermediate SQL skills for data extraction, joins, aggregation, validation, and troubleshooting.\n\nExperience with a business intelligence or visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau through coursework, personal projects, hackathons, or prior internships.\n\nUnderstanding ofdata visualization principles, dashboard usability, and analytical storytelling.\n\nExperience working with datasets to identifytrends, derive insights, and communicate findings.\n\nBasic programming or data analysis experience in Python, R, or a similar language.\n\nExposure to Generative AI concepts including Large Language Models, prompt engineering, structured outputs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, AI agents, tool calling, and model evaluation.\n\nExperience using GenAI tools or APIs to support analytics, reporting, knowledge discovery, or workflow automation.\n\nLocation:\nOur Penang office is located in Suntech at Cybercity, easily accessible via public transportation.
