As part of Seagate effort to lower the cost of goods sold, Test Time Reduction activities becomes a crucial part of Seagate Design Centers globally and these efforts have started involving AI and ML in the past 5 years.\nDuring your attachment you will be given projects that involves analysis of HDD manufacturing data, developing of tools to improve the efficiency of collecting these data for ML and finally deriving models that will help reduce HDD production time via accurate predictions of optimal drives adaptive parameters without calibrations.\nAbout you:\nStrong team player and resourceful\nGood analytical skills, results-oriented, meticulous, and able to work independently.\nYour experience includes:\nGood programming skill in Python scripts are preferred.\nExperience in using Data Analytics Software and some knowledge in AI-ML will be of advantage.\nLocation:\nThe Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center.
