We collaborate closely with the Design Center, Seagate global factories to launch new products and optimize manufacturing ramps, ensuring supply responds effectively to customer demand.\nAbout the role - you will:\nLead cross-functional execution across product lifecycle phases, driving qualification, supply chain optimization, issue resolution, and yield improvement initiatives. This role operates as the central integration point between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, design center and program teams to ensure successful product delivery, quality, and cost performance from development through EOL.\nSupply Chain Optimization\nKey Responsibilities:\nProduct Qualification\nLead qualification planning and execution across products and factories.\nManage milestones, risks, approvals, and launch readiness.\nSupply Chain Optimization\nDrive wafer sourcing and qualification strategies to ensure supply continuity.\nIdentify opportunities to improve supply flexibility and operational efficiency.\nIssue Management\nLead cross-functional resolution of product, quality, and qualification issues.\nCommunicate risks, actions, and decisions to stakeholders.\nYield & Cost Improvement\nDrive CYP/YIP execution to improve yield, cost, and business performance.\nTrack improvement initiatives and support data-driven decisions\n.\nCollaboration & Leadership\nLead global cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives.\nProvide clear recommendations and support executive decision-making.\nAbout you:\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Physics, Materials, Electrical, Mechanical preferred)\nYour experience includes:\nAbility to manage multiple projects in parallel across multiple teams, locations, and time zones with minimal supervision\nExcellent organization and critical thinking skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive data-based decisions.\nGood stakeholder management and communication skills (technical and executive levels).\nYou might also have:\nProject Management in engineering Improvement\nFamiliarity with Seagate products and technologies\nFamiliarity with Seagate development processes\nWorking Environment\nGlobal, cross-functional role\nHigh interaction with engineering and operations leadership\n• Limited travel (\nLocation: STST\nCompleted applications should be submitted no later than midnight on Sunday 1st November 2026.\nThis is a Full-Time position working 39 hours per week, on-site working.\nThis role does not meet the criteria set by the Home Office for sponsorship on a Skilled Worker Visa as such sponsorship of this visa cannot be offered\nPlease demonstrate on your Cover Letter or CV how you meet the criteria above in order to proceed in the recruitment process.\nTesting may be used as part of the selection process.\nEmployees wishing to be considered for the above post should submit your completed application through SAP - Seagate Careers, or through Career Discovery.\nAt Seagate, we are dedicated to fostering a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace.
