We welcome any interested candidates that possess this mindset to embark on this exciting journey in challenging the future roadmaps.\nAbout the role - you will:\nDevelop, test, and deploy PC-based software for automated manufacturing equipment\nPartner with maintenance and process teams to define requirements and deliver software that improves machine performance, supports product changes, and enhances manufacturing efficiency\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including service manuals and technical specifications\nDiagnose and resolve software and controls-hardware issues on the production floor\nImprove existing automation equipment, as well as develop new automation machine\nMentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development\nCollaborate with mechanical engineers on controls-hardware design and integration\nDesign, interpret, and update electrical schematics and pneumatic diagrams\nUse Lucidchart to visualize and communicate control-system logic for automated assembly equipment\nEstimate project cost and schedule and manage projects from concept through completion\nDevelop machine-learning models to enhance automation processes\nIntegrate advanced sensors for improved data acquisition, predictive maintenance, and quality analytics\nResearch emerging robotics and automation technologies to identify opportunities for equipment improvement\nAbout you:\nEffective in working with both native and non-native English speaker\nStrong communication skills to work across engineering, IT, and operations teams\nSelf-motivated, team player with strong analytical skills and eager to learn more\nPositive, can-do mindset with a willingness to take on challenging problems\nAble to work both independently and collaboratively within diverse, cross functional teams\nCommitted to continuous learning, particularly in automation, control systems, and AI advancements\nYour experience includes:\nBachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, or equivalent experience\nStrong proficiency in C# and C++ with experience developing and deploying software solutions for factory automation and industrial environments\nHands on experience with automation control devices, including sensors, scanners, pneumatic cylinders, and electrical actuators\nSolid understanding of industrial communication protocols and network architectures such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, DeviceNet, CAN, and EtherCAT\nExperience with machine-vision systems and tools including Cognex VisionPro, Halcon, OpenCV, and Emgu CV, along with knowledge of vision-hardware design\nFoundational knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence\nKnowledge of electrical and pneumatic diagram design\nFamiliarity with safety equipment design standards such as SOP39 and SEMI\nLocation:\nOur Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
