Overall assignment is a Hard Disc Drive (HDD) technical support team that works closely with product engineer, design center and reliability team to solving HDD problems, improving product quality, yield and test-time in related field of each function.\nAbout the role - you will:\nCollaborate with Product Engineers, Design Center Engineers and Reliability team to solve Hard Disc Drive (HDD) problems, improving product quality, yield and test-time in ARS function, related field, contain of HDD’s Mechanical and Electrical parts, Head-Media components analysis,\nLead critical products and projects in ARS(HDM) function, which related to Head flyability, Head-Media interaction, Mechanical and/or Chemical effect to drive quality and performance.\nAssist and/or initiate any drive’s test process, generate process improvements ideas and actively participate in design concepts.\nProvide direct on-site support to manufacturing operations, product engineers, reliability team, and design centers\nPerform data analysis, electrical failure analysis (EFA) by using Seagate’s HDD tools, computer programing (C and Python) and MATLAB in order to find root-cause, understand problems and/or new design such as changes in electrical/mechanical component or new features/algorithms\nMonitor product performance, yield and quality focusing on ARS related field\nBe a technical consultant to Product Engineers, Reliability team and factory team\nAbout you:\nOrganization, ability to manage and support multiple projects\nExcellent problem-solving skills\nAbility to work across multiple teams and collaborate effectively\nGood communication and presentation skills\nGood command of English\nAble to lead and coach team members\nAble to host meetings with teams\nYour experience includes:\nBachelor’s or higher degree in Engineer discipline, Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunication, Computer, material science and/or equivalent experience\nMicrosoft Office, computer programing (C and Python) and Matlab\nProduct and/or project management\nData analysis skills\nLocation:\nKorat, Thailand\nOur Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide.
