We are seeking a dynamic and experienced communications professional, with deep knowledge of the tier-one, business media landscape in the U.S. as well as a solid grasp of media relations strategies and a passion for bringing technology innovation stories to life.\nAbout the role - you will:\nThe Staff Program Manager of Corporate Communications will be responsible for leading executive communications projects and programs, demonstrating ability to forge alignment across government relations, investor relations, legal/compliance and marketing functions, developing and executing earned media strategies to build Seagate’s brand visibility and reputation in the United States.\nThis role involves managing company stakeholders, driving executive communications (including social media strategies), media relations, and collaborating across corporate marketing functions to ensure alignment. *Please submit a cover letter along with resume when applying for the role. \nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement media relations strategies to enhance and protect the company's public image and brand.\nDemonstrate established relationships with tech and business media outlets, journalists, and influencers.\nOversee the agency in the creation and distribution of brand messaging toolkits, press releases, tailored pitches, media kits, and other communication materials.\nSupport executive spokespersons for the company, handling media inquiries, in-market speakerships, social media platforms and media interviews.\nMonitor and deliver media coverage and contribute to achieving PR team goal KPIs. \nCollaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.\nManage crisis communication and develop strategies to mitigate potential negative publicity.\nPlan and execute media events, press conferences, and other public relations activities.\nStay updated on industry trends and media landscape to identify opportunities for positive coverage.\nAbout you:\nExperience supporting executive speaking opportunities and press interviews.\nProven track record of successfully managing media relations and securing positive media coverage.\nTechnology industry experience and/or expertise.\nExcellent, high quality written and verbal communication skills on tight deadlines.\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with media professionals.\nAbility to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nYour experience includes:\nCrisis communication and corporate communications messaging development.\nBachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field or equivalent experience.\nExtensive experience in media relations, corporate communications or public relations.\nLocation:\nRemote United States; #LI-Remote United States; This is a fully remote opportunity.\nSeagate is able to offer virtual employment for this position in the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WY.\nThe estimated base salary range for this position is $109,500 - $159,500.
