We are a dynamic team working in a world’s largest state-of-the art magnetic media manufacturing environment with highly automated processes and advanced control systems.\nWe pride ourselves on delivering committed equipment performance and operational objectives through effective maintenance, technology, and innovation to help Seagate succeed.\nOur team is made up of committed, talented, and friendly people passionate about our job, believing in people well-being and people development.\nEmployees will have positive experiences with our comprehensive induction and training programs\nAbout the role - you will:\nResponsible for leading a team of technicians who are key to the media factory production and key process in thin film sputtering\nMaintains sputter equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime for both schedule preventive maintenance and unscheduled downtime\nMaintain RBA and safety matrices and make sure comply to all audit requirements\nAdministers training programs to ensure: Proper equipment operation, preventive maintenance, repair programs and procedures.\nSupervise and maintain spare parts and inventory controls\nProvides technical supervision of jobs done by Engineering specialists and Manufacturing Specialists with responsibility of quality of work, methods, safety, cost and enforcement of company regulations and policies \nAccomplishes Engineering specialists and Manufacturing Specialists results by communicating job expectation; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.\nMaintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.\nSupport production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.\nCreates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, implementing change.\nMaintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.\nMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
