We work across the company, including with our HDD (hard disc drive) development teams, to offer total storage solutions for our customers.\nAbout the role - you will:\nEffectively communicate and document software design and effectively listen and discuss technical problems with customers, test team, and development team \nParticipate in customer reported problem, Collaborate with Customer facing team and solving them \nBe part of a high performing team of firmware developers in Emerging Products & Solutions that focuses on providing state of the art, end to end storage solutions. This includes developing data protection, data reduction, and storage virtualization technologies. The specific areas are: \nWrite code to manage the data-path of high-performance storage arrays \nDevelop code for fault tolerant storage systems \nDevelop data caching algorithms \nWrite storage virtualization code \nWrite high availability applications \nWrite software functional and design specifications \nDevelop data caching algorithms \nDevelop data reduction technologies \nTriage issues during continuous integration & deployment processes, as well as customer found issues \nWork closely with the test organization to resolve issues in a timely manner \nCollaborate with team members across the globe \nAbout you:\nGood technical and process exposure as depth and breadth, \nAbility to present technical data clearly to team members and address feedback from peers and product management \nProblem Solver with a strong initiative \nTeam player and works with the team in synergy \nYour experience includes:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering or related field\nTest driven development \nStrong C++/C Skills, Object-oriented design \nKnowledge of embedded multi-threaded RTOS application development, Linux user process and device driver development, including multi-threading and inter-process communications \nExperience with RAID controller system or other storage controller systems \nScripting skills, including one or more of bash, Python \nGDB Debugger.
