Seagate believes this is critical to the growth of our employees, as well as our Company.\nAbout the role - you will:\nLearn how to maintain, troubleshoot and repair Photolithography/Plating/Test/Vacuum equipment in a Wafer fabrication environment \nUnderstand and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures as directed \nWork safely on equipment that requires use of PPE, with chemicals or gases \nTrain with and support existing technicians on a wide variety of technical skills \nExpand your career opportunities by gaining the necessary training to perform the job duties of a Wafer Equipment Engineering Specialist \nWork towards the experience necessary to apply for an Equipment Engineering Specialist position, when these positions become available \nAbout you:\nAmbitious to keep growing professionally \nFamiliar with Wafer Fab Equipment \nAbility to work with Chemicals following all safety procedures \nMechanical aptitude including the ability to use common tools to repair equipment \nYou need to be a self-starter who is willing to work in small teams to gain the necessary skills to perform all maintenance activities on the equipment \nYou will need to have the critical thinking skills to evaluate complex problems and a willingness to follow all available documentation \nYour experience includes:\nCurrently enrolled and working towards an AA technical degree (at least one semester completed towards the degree). \nExperience with MS Office \nAble to work D shift (weekend nights, Friday to Sunday and every other Thursday from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am)\nLocation:\nOur Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate.
