Our team is made up of committed, talented, and friendly people passionate about our job, believing in people’s well-being and people’s development.\nAbout the role - you will:\nOwn and maintain sputter equipment performance\nEnsure equipment meets uptime, quality, and OEE targets\nPerform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment issues\nDrive maintenance excellence\nDevelop, execute, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance strategies\nSupport reduction of unscheduled downtime through reliability improvements\nTechnical problem solving & improvement\nAnalyze process/equipment data to identify trends and improvement opportunities\nImplement engineering solutions to improve yield, uptime, and cost performance\nSupport production operations\nWork closely with production, maintenance, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues\nProvide technical support during shift operations and critical tool recovery\nProcess and equipment optimization\nDefine and optimize process parameters and control points\nSupport process qualification, engineering trials, and change implementation\n Documentation and system improvements\nDevelop and update SOPs, PM procedures, and troubleshooting guides\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, cost reduction, automation)\n Compliance & safety\nEnsure adherence to safety, environmental, and audit requirements (e.g., RBA, internal audits)\nMaintain safe working practices in cleanroom environment\nCollaboration and knowledge sharing\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to technicians and specialists\nSupport structured training and effective knowledge transfer within the team\nPromote the adoption of AI-driven tools and digital solutions to enhance troubleshooting, predictive maintenance, and decision-making\nEncourage the use of AI for data analysis, pattern recognition, and continuous improvement initiatives\nAbout you:\nStrong problem-solving capability with a structured approach to root cause analysis \nGood data analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills, with exposure or interest in applying AI-driven insights for equipment performance improvement \nFamiliar with equipment control systems, automation, and standard engineering tools; knowledge or willingness to learn AI/analytics applications is an added advantage \nA collaborative team player with strong communication and cross-functional engagement skills\nYour experience includes:\nDegree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline \n1-2 years of relevant experience in equipment engineering or maintenance within semiconductor, media, or vacuum environment\nHands-on exposure (through work, projects, or internships) in vacuum systems, sputter equipment, or thin film processing technologies will be an advantage \nLocation:\nOur Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
