You will work across firmware development, equipment control, debugging, validation, and production deployment while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable systems that improve manufacturing efficiency and equipment uptime.\nEmbedded Firmware Development and Sustaining (Primary Responsibility)\nDevelop embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers, processors, and custom hardware, including board bring-up, device drivers, bootloaders, hardware interfaces, and RTOS-based applications. \nDebug and validate embedded systems using industry-standard lab equipment and tools, optimize software for performance, memory, and power constraints, and ensure solutions meet product reliability, safety, and regulatory requirements. \nDevelop firmware for new PCBA boards, with a focus on hardware-software interfaces, low-level communication protocols, and maintainable design. \nDeliver bug fixes, performance improvements, and feature enhancements for existing boards. \nManage firmware upgrades and sustaining activities to improve reliability and production readiness.\nSoftware Control Systems\nDesign and maintain machine control applications for automation equipment. \nDesigns, programs, and maintains automated control systems and industrial processes to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. \nManage GitHub source control, code reviews, and software release activities. \nSupport machine integration, validation, qualification, and production deployment to ensure robust system performance.\nSoftware Design for Test Equipment\nEvaluate technical feasibility and guide firmware and software solutions from problem definition through implementation and release. \nPartner with internal teams to define requirements, estimate schedules, and deliver high-quality solutions on time. \nManage technical priorities, project milestones, and deliverables with independence and accountability. \nDevelop and execute firmware and software testing for new hardware integrations.\nOccasional Responsibilities\nContribute to selected AI and machine learning software initiatives that enhance equipment capability and operational insight. \nDesign, develop, and maintain software in a Linux environment as needed. \nSupport software installation and troubleshoot PC setup issues. \nTroubleshoot and resolve software issues to maintain system uptime and testing efficiency. \nAbout you:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.\nExperience: More than 5 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware and software development for test equipment systems, with practical expertise in equipment automation, embedded firmware, machine control, debugging, validation, and production support for complex test platforms.\nCore Technical Skills\nStrong proficiency in C/C++, C#, Java, and Python for developing, deploying, and supporting production software. \nStrong experience developing embedded systems in C/C++, including microcontroller platforms and RTOS-based firmware. \n3+ years of C#/.NET development experience in automation equipment software. \nExperience with object-oriented programming, state machines, and software architecture design. \nGitHub source control and version management. \nMotion control, robotics, and equipment integration. \nStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis capabilities. \nYour experience includes:\nOwnership of firmware and software deliverables, effective cross-functional collaboration with hardware and manufacturing teams, and a proven ability to debug, validate, deploy, and sustain reliable test equipment solutions in production environments.\nProfessional Attributes\nSelf-directed, adaptable, and proactive, with the ability to take ownership of engineering challenges while learning new tools, technologies, and programming languages. \nStrong communicator and collaborator, with experience contributing to cross-functional engineering and co-development efforts. \nLocation:\nTeparuk Thailand\nOur Teparuk site specializes in producing nano-recording heads-a crucial component for the read/write functionality of hard disk drives.
