To provide a plan for other departments that is aligned with demand.\nAbout the role - you will:\nLead cross-functional alignment on capacity, capital, and resource planning to support business commitments and technology roadmap execution.\nDevelop a capacity plan for equipment and tooling which aligned with capacity commitments, product roadmaps, and cross-functional commodity requirements.\nAnalyze and manage equipment capacity to ensure demand fulfillment and achievement of business targets.\nAnalyze capacity and capital requirements and perform what-if scenario assessments to support business decision-making\nDefine and adjust equipment deployment plans and realign capacity to support frontline operational execution.\nConsolidate equipment assumptions, technology roadmaps, and planning inputs to support short- and long-term capacity planning.\nUnderstand Capital planning and budget planning processes\nLead and prepare all required documentation for new equipment acquisitions, including AR (Appropriation Request) and PR (Purchase Requisition) submissions\nDevelop solutions to address capacity, capital planning, and execution challenges.\nMonitor and report capital spending and equipment status\nMaintain and continuously improve standard capacity and capital planning documentation and processes\nCollaborate with cross-functional to understand business requirements and support strategic planning and execution activities.\nSupport strategic initiatives and transformation programs, including Slider Modernization, Smart Factory, AI adoption, and automation projects.\nDesign and implement automated workflows and digital solutions for capacity, capital, and resource planning, aligned with the organization's AI and digital transformation roadmap.\nApply Lean principles and Industrial Engineering (IE) methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of resource, capacity, and capital planning processes.\nAbout you:\nStrong interpersonal, leadership, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.\nDemonstrates a positive attitude, accountability, and ownership of responsibilities.\nAbility to build effective partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions and organizations to drive project success.\nAble to prioritize multiple tasks, manage competing deadlines, and perform effectively in a dynamic environment.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nWillingness to learn, adapt, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nExperience with database systems, data analytics platforms, and simulation tools (e.g., Python, FlexSim, Arena) is an advantage.\nKnowledge of AI, automation, digital solutions, and workflow optimization is preferred.\nFluent in both written and spoken English.\nYour experience includes:\nBachelor’s or higher degree in the Industrial Engineering discipline and/or equivalent experience\nBackground on IE (Industrial Engineer) with Capacity and Capital planning\nGood knowledge in Hard Disk Drive manufacturing and Slider operation\nExperience with automate workflow, database, data analytics platforms, and simulation tools (e.g., Python, FlexSim, and Arena), with the ability to query, analyze, and interpret data from database systems.\nLocation:\nKorat, Thailand\nOur Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide.
