We work closely with CAG-US and transducer designers in MN, USA, and Springtown, UK.\nAbout the role - you will:\nSupport test development and hardware/software qualification activities for engineering test platforms and applications\nAssist with test execution, data collection, and basic analysis for writer, reader, and thermo-mechanical component characterization\nDevelop or improve simple Python or C tools for test automation, data processing, visualization, and reporting under guidance from the engineering team\nSupport test platform and application qualification by following test plans, checking data quality and repeatability, and documenting results\nParticipate in troubleshooting tester, hardware, software, and measurement issues with guidance from experienced engineers and laboratory specialists\nSummarize findings and share progress through clear technical documentation, presentations, and team discussions #internship\nAbout you:\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics or a related field\nBasic understanding of electronics, electrical circuits, electromagnetics, physics, or measurement principles\nCurious, self-motivated, and eager to learn about engineering test platforms, component characterization, and magnetic recording technology\nAble to follow test procedures carefully, organize data, pay attention to detail, and ask questions when clarification is needed\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to investigate unexpected test results\nAble to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams\nPositive can-do attitude, dependable work habits, and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks with appropriate guidance\nGood written and spoken English communication skills\nYour experience includes:\nBasic Python programming skills for test automation, data processing, analysis, and visualization\nHands-on experience with laboratory measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, digital multimeters, and signal generators\nData analysis skills with foundational statistical knowledge, including descriptive statistics, data visualization, trend analysis, and interpretation of test results\nLocation:\nOur Teparuk site specializes in producing nano-recording heads-a crucial component for the read/write functionality of hard disk drives.
