As our Quality Technician, you’ll be our gatekeeper focused on quality assurance (QA) while operating a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). You’ll make sure all incoming production parts that go into Seakeepers meet the quality standards we have set for ourselves. You’ll ensure all products meet the defined requirements by:\nOperating a CMM and reviewing drawing specifications for incoming production parts, first articles, and prototypes\nAnalyzing problems, initiating corrective actions, and reporting results effectively\nVerifying machined parts meet drawing specifications using inspection equipment including an automated & manual CMM\nOperating a variety of inspection equipment, hydraulic test devices and specialty inspection tools ex. Profilometer, Creaform 3D scanner etc.\nIdentifying and documenting non-conforming product in laboratory setting\nUpdating production documentation for inspection parts status\nCommunicating inspection results internally to quality leadership and the quality department and notifying vendors of non-conformances\nWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED\nMUST-HAVES\nHigh school diploma or GED\n1+ year experience in CMM operation or CNC machining working in a manufacturing or industrial environment\nExperience working with inspection equipment and tools\nAbility to perform precision manual measurements using hand tools etc\nBasic ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings\nIntermediate computer skills - proficiency with Word and Excel \nAbility to report inspection results and effectively communicate results to the Quality department\nBasic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)\nMaintain a positive, professional, and customer-centric attitude at all times\nStrong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills\nSuperior time management, multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills\nAbility to do the following, with or without reasonable accommodation: \nLift, carry, push, or pull materials and products weighing up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally\nStand or walk for extended periods (8-12-hour shifts) on concrete or other hard surfaces\nPerform frequent repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, reaching, and gripping\nUse hands and fingers to handle small parts, operate tools or controls, and assemble products with precision\nVisually inspect products for defects, labels, or measurements\nDistinguish sounds such as machinery alarms, beeps, or spoken instructions in a noisy environment\nWear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear\n\nNICE-TO-HAVES\nPost-secondary education or related training and certifications\nMastercam experience\nAbility to program CMM’s\nMORE DETAILS YOU'LL WANT TO KNOW\nYou’ll be based in our Leesport, PA facility full-time\nOccasional travel (up to 10%) to facilitate identification and containment of issues at vendors, or in our warehouse\nOn-the-job training will be provided (we will help you become the Seakeeper expert!)\nThis is a second shift position Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.\nYou will train on first shift Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. for the first 3 - 4 weeks\nYou’ll report to the Quality Control Manager, also based in PA\nYOUR TEAM\nOur Quality Technicians are nestled within our Manufacturing Engineering department. It is a small, but mighty team that ties together the sourcing of high-quality parts from reputable vendors to the meticulous manufacturing of Seakeeper units.
