Some might say it defies gravity! As our CNC Machine Operator, you’ll be the one who creates these gravity-defying products. You’ll assemble machined parts into a sub-assembly state and inspect and back flywheels to be delivered for final assembly. You’ll ensure all products are crafted with the utmost quality by:\nOperating CNC equipment, which includes the following: Performing pre-operation inspections of pieces and parts or on the machines themselves \nSetting up the machine and parameters \nInspecting all parts against standards using tooling and gauges \n\nMaintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations \nEnsuring continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs \nWorking closely with teammates in other departments \nDocumenting actions by completing production and quality logs \nMaintaining information in computer databases \nWe have multiple shifts available!\n1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.\n2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday 3:30p.m. - 2:00 a.m. (you will train on 1st shift for the first four weeks)\n4th Shift:Friday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. (you will train on 1st shift for the first four weeks)\nWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED\nDo you have a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to hustle in a fast-paced environment? Here are a few other things you’ll need to succeed.\nMUST-HAVES\nHigh school diploma or equivalent \nBe mechanically inclined \nAbility to read, write, and speak English\nMust have a strong attention to detail \nPossess conceptual, process improvement, functional, and technical skills\nExcellent verbal communication skills\nMaintain a clean and safe working environment at all times\nPossess quality focus, sound judgment, and decision-making\nAbility to do the following, with or without reasonable accommodation: Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and products weighing up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally\nStand or walk for extended periods (8-12-hour shifts) on concrete or other hard surfaces\nPerform frequent repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, reaching, and gripping\nUse hands and fingers to handle small parts, operate tools or controls, and assemble products with precision\nVisually inspect products for defects, labels, or measurements\nDistinguish sounds such as machinery alarms, beeps, or spoken instructions in a noisy environment\nWear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear\n\nNICE-TO-HAVES\n1 year of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment \nMechanical and/or electrical background \nExperience operating tooling and gauging equipment \nAbility to use precision measuring equipment (depth mics, snap mics, and temperature gauges)\nMORE DETAILS YOU’LL WANT TO KNOW\nYou’ll be based in Leesport, PA, full time \nOn-the-job training will be provided (we will help you become the Seakeeper expert!) \nYou’ll report to the Machining Supervisor, who is based in our Leesport, PA, location \nThis is a manual labor position, working along a production assembly line \nYOUR TEAM\nOur CNC Machine Operators are nestled within our Production department.
