We design, engineer, and deliver products and deployable technologies built for environments where traditional infrastructure falls short.\nPosition Overview:\nSealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is looking for an experienced and talented Systems Engineer to join our team of engineers delivering cutting-edge solutions. In this role, you will contribute to engineering efforts spanning hardware and software integration, systems engineering, and security engineering, working directly with internal teams and customers to define system architecture, drive engineering change requests, and execute implementation plans that deliver mission outcomes.\nThis position is based onsite at the Enterprise Modernization Center (EMC) in Stevensville, MD, with periodic visits to our headquarters in Columbia, MD as needed. Travel to a customer site in Virginia is also required on a quarterly basis.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nPerform BOM analysis.\nReceive BOMs from the customer and evaluate requests against current warehouse inventory.\nCreate pick orders in Flowtrac.\nWhen a description is provided instead of a SKU, research viable options online, prioritizing TAA-compliant products. Notify the customer when non-TAA options must be used.\nPerform new product analysis and assist the customer in exploring new products as requested, providing both procurement and technical insight.\nCoordinate procurement and warehouse operations to ensure stock is maintained and pick orders are fulfilled; provide feedback to the customer weekly or as requested.\nDevelop consistent Flowtrac operational processes and write SOPs to track those processes.\nCommunicate effectively with the Prime contract and end customer.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nU.S. Citizenship.\n5 years of experience in systems engineering (server hardware), systems architecture, and network security architecture.\n2 years of experience with current defensive cyberspace TTPs.\nKnowledge and experience with network protocols, virtualization, architecture design, and defense-in-depth practices.\nKnowledge of server hardware including initial setup/installation, testing, and configuration.\nUnderstanding of infrastructure security, hardening processes, techniques, and industry best practices.\nExperience writing SOPs for operational or logistics processes.\nExperience performing BOM analysis and evaluating material requests against inventory.\nExperience with Flowtrac or similar inventory/warehouse management systems.\nExperience creating and managing pick orders in a warehouse or logistics environment.\nUnderstanding of TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliance as it relates to product procurement.\nExperience interfacing directly with customers and prime contractors in a DoD/GovCon environment.\nMust be willing to work onsite at the EMC in Stevensville, MD the majority of the time, visit HQ in Columbia, MD as needed, and travel to a customer site in Virginia on a quarterly basis.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProcurement or supply chain experience in a defense or federal contracting setting.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.\nSealing Technologies is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other protected status.
