The position will work closely with business owners, executive teams, and firm leadership to deliver high-quality tax services and support the continued growth of the practice.\nKey Responsibilities\nClient Advisory & Tax Strategy\nProvide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients\n\nAnalyze tax implications related to business transactions and financial decisions\n\nMonitor tax law developments and communicate implications to clients\n\nEngagement Oversight\nReview complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals\n\nEnsure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of client engagements\n\nManage multiple client engagements simultaneously\n\nLeadership & Team Development\nSupervise and mentor tax managers, seniors, and staff\n\nProvide technical guidance and training to engagement teams\n\nSupport professional development within the tax practice\n\nClient Relationship Management\nServe as a trusted advisor to clients and maintain strong long-term relationships\n\nParticipate in client meetings and strategic planning discussions\n\nIdentify opportunities to expand services and deepen client partnerships\n\nPractice Growth\nSupport business development initiatives and practice expansion\n\nAssist with proposals and client presentations\n\nCollaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\n\nCPA license required\n\n10+ years of public accounting tax experience\n\nStrong background in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services\n\nPrior experience managing client relationships and supervising tax professionals\n\nSkills\nAdvanced technical tax knowledge across corporate, partnership, and individual tax matters\n\nStrong leadership and team development capabilities\n\nExcellent communication and client advisory skills\n\nAbility to manage complex engagements and multiple priorities\n\nAbout Seattle Search Group\nSeattle Search Group is a recruiting firm specializing in accounting, finance, and tax placements across Seattle, Bellevue, and the greater Puget Sound region.
