If you can't evaluate what AI produces, you're not ready for this role.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn and improve observability across the entire stack: metrics, logging, alerting, dashboards.\n\nArchitect and operate browser cloud infrastructure: containerized browsers, session isolation, crash recovery, autoscaling.\n\nHandle websocket connections, CDP tunnels, and TCP-level tuning for browser automation.\n\nWrite and maintain Terraform for all infrastructure. Everything is code.\n\nTune autoscaling, capacity planning, and cost optimization.\n\nExpand to new regions as we grow.\n\nExperiment with Lambdas, new cloud providers for custom scraping needs.\n\nDebug production issues: memory leaks, zombie processes, network failures.\n\nBuild disaster recovery and incident response runbooks.\n\nWork with Linux systems, Dockerfiles, container orchestration daily.\n\nThis is a senior role:\nYou've done this before at scale.\n\nYou can architect systems, not just maintain them.\n\nYou mentor other engineers on infrastructure best practices.\n\nThe Hard Parts\nThis role is not for everyone. Everything is infrastructure as code.\n\nComfortable with Linux systems, Docker, container orchestration.\n\nExperience running headless browsers or similar workloads at scale (Playwright, Puppeteer, raw CDP).\n\nUnderstand networking: TCP, websockets, load balancing, multi-region.\n\nBuilt observability stacks that engineers actually use (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar).\n\nCan debug memory leaks, zombie processes, and weird container behavior at 2am.\n\nFluent in English, written and spoken.\n\nBSc or higher in CS or equivalent technical field.\n\nWe're especially looking for:\nExperience with browser clouds or similar high-concurrency containerized workloads.\n\nMulti-region and multi-cloud experience.\n\nCost optimization at scale.\n\nConnection pooling experience (PgBouncer or similar).\n\nUnderstanding of database sharding concepts.\n\nExperience with Lambdas or serverless for specific workloads.\n\nTLS fingerprinting, CDP internals, or browser automation depth.\n\nWhat We Look For\nWhat makes a strong application:\nSpecific examples, not generic claims.
