The role is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the Windows Virtual environment, including software distribution, product lifecycle management, along with providing senior level operational support. In conjunction with VDI, this role is also responsible for design, implementation, maintenance, and support of Citrix ADC for application delivery and load balancing. The role will also perform as a technical leader within the department and organization with emphasis on architecture and design of the Citrix environment. The CVSA will be the technical lead for virtualized workstreams and is responsible for understanding and defining Virtual endpoint environments in alignment with enterprise architectural plans and strategies.SEARHCis a non-profit health consortium which serves the health interests of the residents of Southeast Alaska. We offer generous benefits, including retirement, paid time off, paid parental leave, health insurance, dental, and vision benefits, life insurance and long and short-term disability, and more.\nKey Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the Job\nDevelops hosted Windows desktop infrastructure and application/load balancing environments.\nMonitors incident response alerts, responding to those that impact the infrastructure and business operations.Documents and manages work through a ticketing system and a change control processes.\nPerforms all levels of deployment, maintenance, upgrading and troubleshooting.\n\nProvides hardware, software, and maintenance support for Nutanix and VMWare platforms.\nWorks closely with application teams and gathers requirements from vendors to build out load balancing requirements and VDI imageapplication provisioning.\nExercises clear verbal and written communication and works with individuals at all levels of the organization, including executive level.\nCollaborates with members of IT, business units, functional teams, field personnel, and internal/external audit functions.\nProvides documentation of the platform production installed state (As-Is Diagram).\nOther Functions\nOther duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nSupervisory responsibilities may be required.\nEducation, Certifications, and Licenses Required\nAssociate’s Degree in a technical field; Bachelor’s preferred.\nCitrix certification is required\nCCA-V minimum, CCP-V ,or CCE-V are preferred.\nThe following certifications are a plus: Microsoft Windows Server, MS Azure/Cloud, MS O365, VMWare, Cisco.\nExperience Required\n10 or more years of proven hands-on experience engineering, implementing, and providing support for dispersed enterprise-level Nutanix and/or VMware virtualization systems providing capabilities such as hosted desktop and server virtualization.\n10 years of direct experience with Citrix-based solutions.\n7 or more years of experience designing, engineering, implementing, and maintaining solutions in secure processing environments which must adhere to U.S. Healthcare regulations and guidelines.\n7 or more years of proven hands-on experience implementing, operating, and maintaining solutions providing virtualization, storage, data protection, and networking services to an IT enterprise information system. Ideally, this HCI experience would be based on the Nutanix ECP.\nDemonstrated experience monitoring and assessing virtualization and storage infrastructure systems and solutions proactively for performance degradation and tuning and optimization opportunities.\nKnowledge of\nStrong background and experience with Citrix engineering concepts and principles, including architecture and deployment.\nStrong load balancing experience\nExperience managing Active Directory and Azure\nWindows Server administration\nAbility to manage group policies\nDNS experience\nStrong networking skills and IT infrastructure knowledge\nSkills in\nExcellent skills with ADC (NetScaler) and virtual desktop.
