We offer generous benefits, including retirement, paid time off, paid parental leave, health insurance, dental, and vision benefits, life insurance and long and short-term disability, and more.\nKey Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the Job\nFacilitates referrals for patients including the technical and clerical components of the request(s), including any insurance authorizations that may be required for travel and/or appointments.\nInputs data into the designated database(s) and electronic health record for ease of communication across the consortium.\n\nSchedules or facilitates the scheduling of appointments.\n\nProvides prompt feedback regarding issues related to care coordination, seeking assistance when appropriate.\n\nMaintains patient referral information electronically.\n\nConsults with appropriate staff for questions regarding eligibility status of patients.\n\nResponsible for timely communication with patients regarding care coordination - appointments, scheduling, housing and travel.\n\nCoordinates travel for patients of all ages through SEARHC, the Alaska Tribal Health System, and other external agencies.
