Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement.\nWhat you'll do\nBusiness Process & Solution Leadership:\nLead the analysis, design, and optimization of complex business processes.\nSupport development of process architecture and relevant process models within assigned business domains.\nFacilitate business capability assessments, process maturity evaluations, and process improvement initiatives.\nIdentify strategic opportunities for process standardization, automation, digitalization, and operational excellence.\nEnsure alignment between business strategy, operating models, business processes, and technology solutions.\nLead process modelling activities using ARIS or similar tools following VAD, BPMN and other standards.\n\nBusiness Analysis & Requirements Management:\nLead discovery workshops and stakeholder engagements across business and technology teams.\nElicit, analyze, challenge, prioritize, and validate business, functional, non-functional, and reporting requirements.\nTranslate business objectives into business cases and improvement roadmaps, provide inputs for IT Solution design.\nEstablish and maintain traceability between business goals, requirements, process models, solution designs, and realized benefits.\nPerform impact assessments across processes, systems, data, organizational structures, and operating procedures.\nProject & Delivery Leadership:\nAct as lead Business Analyst on large-scale and cross-functional initiatives.\nGuide project teams through all phases of the delivery lifecycle including planning, design, testing, deployment, and stabilization.\nSupport project governance activities, risk identification, issue resolution, and decision-making.\nCollaborate closely with IT Solution Architects, Product and Data Owners, Developers, and Business Leaders.\nLead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution oversight, and business readiness activities.\nLeadership & Mentorship:\nMentor Business Analysts.\nContribute to the development and continuous improvement of BA methodologies, templates, standards, and governance frameworks.\nPromote a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development.\nWhat you'll bring\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Digital Transformation, or Systems Implementation.\nDemonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.\nAdvanced experience with BPMS, Azure DevOps, Visio, or equivalent enterprise platforms.\nExperience facilitating executive-level discussions and strategic planning activities.\nAdvanced knowledge of Business Analysis, BPM, Process Architecture, and Digital Transformation practices.\nAdvanced experience in designing and optimizing business processes.\nExtensive experience with BPM platforms in a lead analyst role.\nStrong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.\nSolid understanding of Enterprise Architecture concepts and business capability modelling.\nStrong understanding of Change Management and Organizational Change impacts.\nKnowledge of Business Intelligence, reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision making.\nExperience and familiarity with engineering, manufacturing, shipbuilding, or industrial operations is considered a strong asset.\nBusiness process architecture and BPM governance\nBPMN 2.0 and process modelling\nFacilitation of executive and stakeholder workshops\nBusiness case development\nEnterprise thinking and systems analysis\nRequirements management and prioritization\nRisk and impact assessment\nBenefits realization and KPI definition\nLeadership and mentoring\nNegotiation and influence\nCommunication and executive presentation skills\nWhy you'll love working here\nThis is a full-time, permanent position. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience as well as position location and internal equity.
