Graduation date must be by August 31, 2027.\nRegistration as an Engineer-In-Training with EGBC, or ability to attain.\nProven track record of both strong academic and extracurricular achievements.\nHighly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience with computer aided drawing/modelling tools.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and timelines.\nExcellent interpersonal skills, including written, verbal, listening and presentation.\nStrong research, problem-solving and analytical skills.\nSelf-motivated with a strong work ethic and high level of attention to detail.\nAbility to take initiative, ownership and drive tasks to completion.\nCommitted to our Core Values of Safety, Care, Efficiency and Accountability.\nHow it works\nParticipants will rotate through the following discipline areas within our Vancouver Shipyard operations:\nEngineering\nProgram Management\nPlanning and Estimating\nProduction Support\nCoast Guard Office (Ottawa, ON)\nIn each discipline area, you will spend 3 - 6 months training and developing new skills, while contributing to state-of-the-art shipbuilding projects. At the end of the program, you will be offered a permanent position based on availability, suitability, and performance.
