You can’t wait to bring your fresh ideas and innovative approach to an organization that has been a staple in Canada’s west coast marine community for generations.\nNote: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 2 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver.\nWhat you’ll do\nThe successful applicant for this internship will provide day-to-day support to the Communications team to help build and share compelling communications materials with internal and external audiences, while assisting and coordinating specific activities, including:\nWrite and edit engaging written and visual content for a variety of platforms.\nSupport the planning and delivery of events.\nHelp to capture and maintain the team’s information and digital assets.\nAssist with capturing and managing of photos and video assets to help us share phenomenal stories.\nWhat you’ll bring\nEnrollment in a Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Journalism undergraduate degree program. \nA natural storyteller with a strive to bring an organization’s narratives into the spotlight.\nStrong writing/editing skills and the ability to produce content for a variety of channels.\nProject management and execution skills, with the ability to lead multiple deadlines with quick turnaround times.\nCreative and design skills, particularly with photography and videography.
