As well as assisting the facilities maintenance planning department which is responsible for the overall continuous development of the maintenance and reliability programs to ensure maximum availability and reliability of equipment.\nNote: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 50 Pemberton, North Vancouver.\nWhat you’ll do\nDevelop and implement Predictive techniques plans on critical equipment.\nAssist in developing comprehensive maintenance plans for routine, preventive, condition based and predictive maintenance activities.\nAudit and improve current maintenance plans.\nAssist in developing Bill of Material of critical equipment.\nAssist in developing and handling the facility maintenance and reliability program.\nDevelop SOP of the maintenance tasks.\nAssist the maintenance planners on auditing the quality of data on the CMMS system.\nAssist in developing a Maintenance system development plan.\nAssist in the migration of databases.\nScheduling shipping of repairable items to maintain critical spares.\nWhat you’ll bring\nEnrollment in a degree or diploma in mechanical engineering.\nGeneral knowledge on predictive techniques as vibrations, thermography, oil Analysis, etc.\nData interpretation.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nWork with others as a standout colleague.\nOrganized with strong technical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and professionals.\nComputer proficiency in the Windows environment.\nStudy field within a technical field\nCuriosity about computer applications.\nSelf-starter.\nWhy you’ll love working here\nA supportive learning environment, great team culture and hands-on experience and training.\nOpportunity to grow your career and connect with like-minded students. \nTo assist those that are using transit, we operate a complimentary shuttle bus Monday through Friday with various pick up and drop off points around North Vancouver. \nDue to the nature of this position, and requirements of the Government of Canada, this position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Canada Controlled Goods Program approval, Reliability Status (or higher depending on position) security clearance issued by the Government of Canada.
