This individual will track, manage, and orders through release to the customer. The expediter requires adaptability to a wide range product range and the ability to interpret detailed information including purchase orders, packing slips, commercial invoices, export trade documents and invoices. The expediter shall possess core job knowledge in purchasing and engineered equipment in aftermarket environment.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nUse SAP or reports to expedite suppliers for on time deliveries for assigned projects based on technical specifications.\nCoordinate and define required expediting-tasks for all placed purchase orders.\n Contact suppliers & update progress and expediting reports as needed.\nConfirm delivery schedules and address any delays.\nMaintain, follow-up and control supplier contractual agreed dates\nIssue regular expediting status reports as required.\nVisit suppliers to verify status of progress or review corrective actions.\nInitiates action to remedy situations within scope of authority.\nConfirms the warehouse personnel has the order and/or walks or calls order to the warehouse to initiate order process.
