We offercompetitive pay, a climate-controlled, modern new workspace, 8-hour shifts and many more great benefits and perks.\nJob Summary:\nThe primary purpose of this role is to perform machine setup, troubleshoot machine issues, and run an assigned machine. While operating equipment, the operator will put an emphasis on productivity, quality, safety, and good housekeeping.\nWork hours: 3rd Shift, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am (8 hours), including every 3rd Saturday as needed.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nSet up, make ready, and operate equipment\nPerform quality checks and stack finished product\nRecord production data with accuracy\nKeen attention to detail\nTroubleshoot and perform minor mechanical maintenance\nIdentify operational improvements as needed\nRuns equipment at optimal level at all times to meet daily production goals (OEE and OTD)\nMaintains work area and tools\nAdheres to work quality standards, standard of work, and safety standards\nConsistently and effectively conducts business by living Seaway’s core values:\nIntegrity - We do what’s right\nCourage - We welcome change\nExcellence - We are customer-focused\nTeam - We trust each other\nAll other duties and responsibilities as assigned\nKey Performance Indicators (KPI)s:\nSafety - Zero RLTAs (Recordable Lost Time Accident)\nQuality - Cost of Quality\nProductivity for your cell - OEE for planned vs actual productivity\nSkill Advancement - Team member skill advancement (Measured in a decrease in operator-related downtime)\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications:\nManufacturing environment experience preferred or prior bindery experience preferred, but not required\n3+ months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education preferred\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred\nMinimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities)\nAbility to do basic troubleshooting when a piece of equipment or machinery is not functioning\nInterpret and follow directions with precision\nBasic computer skills for job detail input and machine operation\nExcellent collaborative skills\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of the job successfully.
