Are you ready to take on a new challenge?\nAbout the role\nAs a cloud data engineer, you will collaborate with our Regulatory business to drive development in our high-priority trading area. You will help enhance our cloud-based data warehouse to support our trading business. As part of our cross-functional team,you will work across requirements, testing, development and deployment, engaging stakeholders in discussions about solutions. You will also collaborate with fellow developers through coaching, code reviews, and design decisions.\nAs a person, believe you are a confident, skilled data engineer with strong technical expertise and a keen interest in Trading, driven to deliver high-value solutions that meet business needs. You are self-motivated, open-minded and respectful of others, with a collaborative approach and a positive contribution to the team.\nTo thrive in this role, we believe you have:\nAt least 3 years of data engineering experience\n\nCloud-based data integration, modelling and pipelines\n\nProficiency in SQL and programming, preferably Python\n\nSkills in testing and test automation\n\nConsidered merterious:\nExperience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud providers\n\nExperience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run, PubSub and Cloud Storage\n\nExperience with Dataform/dbt and Airflow\n\nKnowledge of data management/data mesh\n\nGCP Professional Cloud Data Engineer certification or equivalent\n\nYour team\nYou will join our Regulatory team of 11 highly collaborative members, where everyone contributes across the full development lifecycle.
