Welcome to SEB!\nAbout the role\nFinancial Crime Prevention (FCP) plays a critical role in protecting SEB, our customers, and society from money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions violations, fraud, and other financial crime risks.\nAs a Data Steward within Financial Crime Prevention, you will work closely with FCP capability areas to improve the quality, governance, and understanding of critical data assets. You will combine data management expertise with practical analytical skills to ensure data is accurate, properly governed, and fit for purpose across financial crime processes such as transaction monitoring, customer due diligence, sanctions screening, fraud prevention, and regulatory reporting.\nYou will collaborate with Data Owners, Product Owners, SMEs, architects, analysts, and technology teams to define and maintain data controls, investigate data issues, support governance activities, and drive continuous improvements in data quality and data management maturity.\nThis role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of Financial Crime Prevention, Data Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Data Analytics in one of SEB's most important risk domains.\nIn addition, the role will include:\nSupporting the Data Owner in driving the implementation of the Data Management responsibilities for the Data Area including data sharing agreements.\nDriving availability of data to secure that the consumers (e.g. analytic teams) can derive insights and value deliverables.\n\nDriving, facilitating and maintaining the business glossary and definitions (ontology) for the Data Area.\n\nIdentifying synergies cross use cases from a data perspective to enable scalable data product development.\n\nDriving and facilitating establishment of relevant metadata and maintaining of the information in the Enterprise Data Catalogue for the Data Area. This also includes but not limited to information security classifications of the data and identification of personal data.\n\nDefining, implementing and managing data quality controls and remediation process including development activities.\n\nDefining, implementing and managing processes for data lifecycle management.\n\nSupporting downstream data consumers and other stakeholders with expertise of the data.\n\nCollaborating with architects, developers and other key stakeholders to support development initiatives and ensure synergies across use cases where data expertise is required\n\nTo thrive in this role, we believe you have:\nExperience within Data Management, Data Governance, Data Stewardship, Data Quality Management, Data Analysis, or related disciplines\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nExperience working with both business and technical stakeholders\n\nAbility to translate business needs into practical data management solutions and controls\n\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills\n\nExperience working with data quality issues, controls, and remediation processes\n\nProficiency in English, both written and spoken\nIt is considered an advantage if you have experience with:\n\nEnterprise Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, or Data Lineage\n\nData management and governance platforms such as Collibra, Dataplex, or similar tools\n\nBCBS239, DORA, DCAM, GDPR, or other regulatory and data management frameworks\n\nData analysis and data quality controls using SQL, BigQuery, or similar technologies\n\nFinancial Crime Prevention, AML, KYC/CDD, Compliance, or Risk Management\n\nCustomer, transaction, and financial crime data domains, including SWIFT, ISO 20022, and SEPA
