You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues across technology, payments and business to help shape SEB’s approach to digital assets.\nAbout this role:\nAs a Solution Developer, you will help build an orchestration layer connecting SEB’s core banking systems with external custody and wallet providers and a token issuer, starting with Ethereum.\nSEB is a founding member of Qivalis, a consortium of leading European banks working to launch a regulated, euro-denominated stablecoin. The platform will connect existing banking and payment infrastructure with digital-asset services, supporting this initiative and future use cases.\nYou will design, develop and maintain secure, resilient backend services and API integrations using .NET, Python and Terraform, working with REST APIs, webhooks, mutual TLS and OAuth 2.0. You will help ensure reliable transaction processing, monitoring and compliance with relevant security and regulatory requirements.\nWorking closely with product management, payment specialists, architects, security and compliance teams, as well as external technology providers, you will translate business and regulatory needs into robust technical solutions.\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign and develop an orchestration layer between core banking, custody and wallet providers, and token issuers\nBuild and maintain containerised back-end services using .NET and Python, with infrastructure defined through Terraform\nDesign secure API integrations using REST, webhooks, mutual TLS and OAuth 2.0\nIntegrate banking and payment flows with custody platforms, digital wallets and blockchain-based services\nDesign transaction flows for Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens, including gas management, transaction finality and operational exception handling\nEstablish secure approaches to cryptographic key management using technologies and standards such as HSM, MPC, PKCS#11 and hierarchical key derivation\nSupport payment integration based on SEPA Instant and ISO 20022, including pacs.008 messages\nEmbed AML and KYC screening, Travel Rule controls and on-chain analytics into relevant transaction flows\nBuild secure, observable and resilient services on Kubernetes and Google Cloud, including multi-zone disaster recovery\nApply engineering practices in line with MiCAR, DORA and SEB’s security and operational requirements\nTo thrive in this role, we believe you have:\nStrong hands-on experience developing backend services using .NET.\nExperience building API integrations and containerised services, with practical knowledge of Python and Terraform.\nExperience with REST APIs, webhooks and secure authentication mechanisms such as mutual TLS and OAuth 2.0.\nExperience with payments, banking integrations or other business-critical transaction platforms where security, traceability and resilience are essential.\nThe ability to translate business and technical requirements into robust solutions and collaborate effectively across technology, product, security and compliance teams.\nIt’s a plus if you have experience with:\nBlockchain and digital assets: Ethereum transactions, ERC-20 tokens, gas management, transaction finality or Solidity.\nCryptographic security and key management: HSM, MPC, PKCS#11 or key derivation standards such as SLIP-0010 and BIP32.\nPayments and financial messaging: SEPA Instant and ISO 20022, particularly pacs.008.\nCustody platforms: Fireblocks, Ripple, Taurus, Zodia or similar.\nCompliance and regulation: AML/KYC screening, the Travel Rule, on-chain analytics tools such as Chainalysis,
