We do not offer sponsorship.\nAfter a deep technical training at our manufacturing plant located in Europe, the candidate will then be in working on projects for the region in our office located in central area of Singapore, where other experienced engineers will be able to give necessary support locally.\nAs a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities would be:\nApplications:\nEnsures the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance activities for the after sales service of Sécheron Singapore.\nCarry out preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrading, and renovation of equipment in Secheron Singapore technical center or at customer site.\nRealizes the troubleshooting and/or condition analysis on the ESS devices to determine appropriate repair/maintenance.\nPerforms maintenance and repair work in accordance with the relevant technical documentation and procedures.\nEnsures the operational performances of the repaired devices by performing the appropriate routine test.\nPrepare comprehensive intervention reports detailing the purpose of the intervention, work performed, analysis conducted, spare parts used, testing results, and any outstanding/open points, using the designated reporting format and protocols.\nMaintain workshop tools, measuring instruments, and equipment in proper condition.\nCollaborates with the sales and the customer support to promote the service activity to potential clients.\nPreparing of interventions. Gather, with the help of the project team, the necessary information to carry out the mission\nOrganization, with the help of the project manager and Engineering team, of the trip to the customer (Singapore or overseas) \nSupervision and verification of the on-site installation\nResponsible for testing and commissioning of the on-site installation\nProvides training for operator and maintenance employee at the customer's site\nIf needed, to inform project team about modifications and on errors found on site and participate in the solution proposal\nParticipation to the creations and updates of installation, operation, maintenance and commissioning documentation (procedures, test reports, manuals)\nCreation, updating and validation of the training materials for Internal and external trainings \nPerforming the training as per the customer requirements (Theoretical or practical)\nParticipate in the business development and local office improvement \nPreparation of detailed presentations to the customers\nQuality:\nEnsure compliance with safety procedures and company quality standards.\nEnsure all maintenance and support activities comply with company quality procedures and railway standards.\nDuring maintenance or repair, report any observations that may identify a potential technical risk in a product, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain accurate documentation and traceability of interventions and corrective actions.\nRequirements\nFor this position, the ideal candidate will have/be:\n3 years of relevant experience in the railway industry.\nCandidate should have proven experience with electrical equipment, preferably DC traction power equipment\nA Degree in Electrical Engineering\nBe fluent, both verbal and written in English\nStrong attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and quality of service reports\nWork performed within the given timeframe.\nFlexibility of planning, and ability to travel at any given time in the South East Asia up to 1 week per month (depends on projects)\nFlexibility to work during engineering hours and to attend remote meetings with Europe when needed \nIf the job description sparkled your interest, we appreciate if you can submit a short resume of up to 3 pages max.\nBenefits\nWe have flat hierarchies and encourage direct communication between departments and levels of management.
