For the expansion of our team, we are seeking to hire in Bangalore a dynamic and motivated IT Support Engineer.\nRequirements\nOverview:\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and self-reliant IT Support Engineer to take full ownership of day-to-day IT operations across end-user support, Microsoft 365 services, infrastructure, networking, and security. This role is ideal for someone with a broad technical background who can work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the smooth running of all IT systems and services. The successful candidate will be the go-to expert for both support and systems tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEnd-User Support & Microsoft 365:\nProvide advanced Level 1 and 2 support across end-user hardware, software, and mobile devices ensuring SLA compliance and quality resolution\nOversee device lifecycle management (laptops/desktops), imaging, and deployment processes\nManage and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including:\nExchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune/Endpoint Manager, Azure AD, Defender for Endpoint.\nEnsure device compliance, patching, and security via Microsoft Endpoint Manager.\nAutomate user lifecycle and improve support processes around onboarding/offboarding.\nCollaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding/offboarding, identity lifecycle, and automation.\nServer & Infrastructure Management:\nAdminister Windows Server environments , including:\nActive Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.\nPerform server patching, monitoring, and backup operations.\nSupport virtualization platforms and basic storage/network integrations as needed.\nTroubleshoot and resolve server-side issues and performance bottlenecks\nNetworking & Security:\nConfigure and support network equipment including managed switches, VLANs, and basic routing..\nMaintain and support perimeter security using Sophos XG/UTM firewalls (policies, VPNs, remote access).\nMonitor and respond to security alerts and incidents, and support implementation of endpoint protection policies.\nContribute to internal security awareness and proactive vulnerability management.\nOperations & Continuous Improvement:\nMaintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.\nContribute to IT projects, including migrations, upgrades, and rollouts..\nProactively identify recurring issues and propose scalable solutions.\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n5+ years of experience in IT support and infrastructure operations.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including modern desktop, email, collaboration, and device management.\nSolid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.\nNetworking experience with switches, VLANs, and firewall systems.\nHands-on experience with Sophos firewall and Microsoft Defender or similar security tools.\nExcellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.\nEducation & Preferred Certifications:\nBE/ B.Tech - CS, IT \nMicrosoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate\nMicrosoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate\nMicrosoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate\nCompTIA Security+ / Network+\nSophos Certified Engineer\nITIL
