DC-DC and DC/AC converters in the range of 1-10MW and 500-1500Vdc.\nModelling of Voltage Source and Line Commutated Converters.\nSpecification of components (IGBT, cooling systems, magnetics) DC & AC Harmonics calculation, filter design, power factor compensation. \nVerification of compliance with specifications and standards. \nCoordination of protections, validation, and testing. \nPreparation of converter testing documentation. \nAnalysis of customer specifications.\nOffer preparation and cost calculation. \nTechnical leadership in customer project execution and support to project management department.\nRequirements\nBachelor degree in Power Electronics Engineering or related field. \nUnderstanding of functional characteristics of Power Electronics and knowledge of control for converters.\nKnowledge in IGBT-based Voltage source Converters (VSC). \nKnowledge of Thyristor-based Line Commutation Converters (LCC) is a plus.\nKnowledge of simulation tools like MATLAB/SIMULINK, PSIM, etc. \nA positive attitude, initiative, proactiveness and an enthusiasm and passion for power electronics, and renewable energy.\nDemonstrable success in achieving customer milestones and exceeding quality expectation.\nGood problem solving with minimum supervision and solution building skills.\nGood communication skills to team, peers, and management. \nGood communication skills in English and Spanish.\nBenefits\nWe have flat hierarchies and direct communication between departments and management levels is encouraged.
