We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Madrid.\nMain Tasks\nProvide technical support during the sales and proposal stages.\nParticipate in internal and customer project kick-off meetings for assigned projects.\nReview tender documentation against customer specifications, Sécheron standards, and cost calculations.\nCoordinate and conduct site surveys when required, including international travel.\nDevelop and deliver comprehensive mechanical engineering designs for assigned projects.\nPrepare detailed manufacturing documentation to support production.\nProvide engineering support to production, including functional testing and customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) when required.\nSupport the Project Manager during customer reviews and approvals of mechanical designs.\nPrepare and coordinate technical responses to customer inquiries through the Project Manager.\nRequirements\nAt least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the energy transmission and distribution industry or in the design of special-purpose industrial machinery.\nBachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.\nAbility to communicate in English; Spanish, French, German or Portuguese would be a plus.\nAvailability to travel.\nAbility to work autonomously within a team. \nBenefits\nWe have flat hierarchies and encourage direct communication between departments and levels of management.
