From configuration and programming to testing and commissioning, you’ll be part of the full lifecycle of our solutions used in railway and energy systems.\nYou will also be part of an international team, collaborating on customer-specific adaptations and implementations. The role includes regular business travel of approximately two weeks per month, primarily within Germany and Switzerland.\n-----------------------------------------------\nWhat you’ll be doing :\nProgramming and configuring PLC systems (focus on logic rather than heavy coding) \nTranslating electrical schematics into program logic\nCreating and adjusting basic HMI interfaces (operator touch panels) \nPerforming simulations, testing, and debugging \nProviding test support, including setup and troubleshooting (PLC/HMI diagnostics, network components, software adjustments) \nSupporting commissioning, both in-house and at customer sites \nCollaborating with commissioning engineers and the wider team \nAdapting solutions based on customer requirements\nDesigning, testing and adjusting communication protocols of Sécheron systems and their integration into customers SCADA systems (no deep SCADA expertise required) \nRequirements\nHigh school / university degree in Automation / Programming/IT \nPractical experience and knowledge of HMI/PLC \nAbility to read electrical schematics and translate them into logic connections\nBasic knowledge of industrial communication protocols and their use \n Communicative English (B2 or higher) mandatory and German as an advantage \nDriving license \nNice to have:\nExperience in a similar position is an advantage \nKnowledge of Network architecture (programmable switch) \nExperience with traction power systems \nBenefits\nWhat we offer:\nStable background of an international engineering company \nWork on real industrial systems with global use \nProfessional onboarding and further training \nProfessional training\nFlexible working hours\n13 salary, transport allowance, meal vouchers, pension plan contribution\n5 weeks of vacation and other….\nInterested?\nIf you’re interested in industrial automation and want to see your work running in real systems, we’ll be happy to hear from you.
